Upcoming Family Tea – 6 October 2015

Oct Family TeaWe looking forward to our next family tea, which is coming up this weekend, on Sunday afternoon at 5pm.

With a good spread of food on offer (including scones!), it’s a great opportunity to catch up with friends over a tasty tea.

Once everyone has finished, we’ll probably have some singing and Alan will close the evening off with a short talk over the tea table.

We hope that you’ll be able to join with us and look forward to seeing you.

Annual Conference – 24 September 2015

Annual Conference 2015Our Annual Conference takes place at Parkside this coming Saturday, 26 September.

We’re expecting Robert Revie to be joining us in the afternoon, from 4.00pm.

Robert will be giving a report on the ongoing missionary work in Ethiopia.

Tea will be served from 5.15pm and Robert will be continuing afterwards, from 6.30pm, with teaching from the Bible.

The evening should finish by around 7.30pm.

All are welcome to both sessions of the Conference.

Upcoming Ladies Missionary Conference – 13 September 2015

Ladies Conference 2015We have Gill Davies speaking at our Ladies Annual Missionary Conference on Tuesday, 15 September, from 3pm.

Gill will be talking about the work carried out in Tanzania by both her and her husband, Steve.

The conference begins at 3pm and will be followed in the back hall by some light refreshments.

Restarting after summer – 7 September 2015

This week will see the recommencement of three of our regular activities which have been halted over the summer months.

Tomorrow at 2.30pm, the Ladies’ Fellowship will meet once again.

On Wednesday morning at 9.30am, the Toddlers group will gather together, with Lesley and Sarah back at the helm.

Finally, Friday evening at 6:30pm will see the restarting of the Kids’ Club – for children aged 4 to 11. This is led by Alan Michael.

New discover mini-series and BBQ lunch – 5 September 2015

_MG_3883During September, we’re having a mini-series of talks in discover on Future Events.

We’ll be exploring four important subjects which are relevant to everyone and looking at the details given about them from the Bible’s perspective.

At the same time, the children will be returning to their own activities as Sunday Club starts up again, following the break for summer.

All services start as usual, at 11:45am and there will be a BBQ lunch following tomorrow’s talk, at around 12:30pm.  If the weather is good, we’ll look to sit out in the park and also play some games.
