Please join us this Sunday for our annual BBQ lunch, which follows on from our normal ‘discover’ Sunday service.
‘discover’ starts from 11:30am with coffee and other drinks being served in the main hall, before the service itself begins at 11:45am. It is suitable for all the family and will include some singing, a quiz and a short talk from the Bible. It will finish at around 12:30pm and the BBQ will take place in the car park behind Parkside.
Once the food is out of the way, there will be the opportunity to play some games in the park, weather permitting, and you’re welcome to stay for as long as you like.

Happy New Year to you!
This year, in discover, we’re going to be looking at the book of Romans. We opened up the series by playing a couple of videos from the excellent thebibleproject.com. Their site is well worth a visit and the videos break down Paul’s letter into more manageable pieces. There are two for Romans – chapters 1-4 and chapters 5-16.
We hope you’ll be able to join us on Sunday mornings from 11:30am, as we seek to learn more about the book of Romans and its relevance today.
We’re looking forward to our next Family Tea, which will take place on Sunday, 8 October from 5pm.
We hope that you’ll be able to join us.
For the fourth year in a row, we’re planning to hold a children’s Holiday Club at Parkside.
This will take place in the mornings of the final week of the summer holidays, between 29 August and 1 September.
The Holiday Club is for children aged between 4 and 11 and this year we’ll be looking at the story of Gideon, taken from the book of Judges.

This Sunday, 30 July, we’ll be making our way over to Marlow for what has become something of an annual tradition.
Although, due to holidays last year we didn’t hold our Sausage Sizzle, for a number of years prior to that we’ve made our way to Higginson Park to enjoy freshly cooked sausages beside the Thames.
The activity is normally accompanied by some kind of entertainment, which was a scratch game of cricket in 2015.
We look forward to another enjoyable occasion on Sunday and welcome any who are able to join us from 5pm in Marlow. To help with catering, please email us, if you’re planning to come along.
