Coronavirus update – 1 October 2020

On 19 March 2020, following government advice, we took the decision to suspend all of our meetings at Parkside.

Since then, a number of our regular meetings are currently being held via Zoom. These include the Breaking of Bread, discover and Bible Teaching.

On 9 August we restarted our Breaking of Bread in person at Parkside, as well as continuing to hold this via Zoom. All other services are still being held on Zoom.

We will update further when we’re able to start having further services in person again, something we’re all looking forward to.

In the meantime, join us on Zoom for discover, every Sunday from 11.30am.

For the fourth year in a row, we’re planning to hold a children’s Holiday Club at Parkside.

This will take place in the mornings of the final week of the summer holidays, between 29 August and 1 September.

The Holiday Club is for children aged between 4 and 11 and this year we’ll be looking at the story of Gideon, taken from the book of Judges.

Sausage Sizzle – 30 July 2017

We had a great afternoon over at Marlow for our Sausage Sizzle and managed to avoid the showers that had constantly threatened during the day.

With some twenty people attending, four portable gas stoves were employed to cook the sausages and boil water for hot drinks.

After the food, an informal game with a frisbee ensued, for the more active attendees.

Upcoming Sausage Sizzle – 26 July 2017

This Sunday, 30 July, we’ll be making our way over to Marlow for what has become something of an annual tradition.

Although, due to holidays last year we didn’t hold our Sausage Sizzle, for a number of years prior to that we’ve made our way to Higginson Park to enjoy freshly cooked sausages beside the Thames.

The activity is normally accompanied by some kind of entertainment, which was a scratch game of cricket in 2015.

We look forward to another enjoyable occasion on Sunday and welcome any who are able to join us from 5pm in Marlow.  To help with catering, please email us, if you’re planning to come along.
