We had our final Coffee in the Park of the summer, today.

This has been the first year that we’ve tried taking the marquee into the park to add extra ‘theatre’ to the Coffee Mornings and in general, the experiment seems to have worked well.  We normally have the banner on top of the marquee as we did at Maidenhead Carnival, but today it was too windy.  It’s also the first year that we’ve looked to ‘rebrand’ our Coffee Mornings as being ‘Coffee in the Park’ with new posters being printed.

We had a few good conversations in the park, despite the inclement weather, and have a couple of people who went away with details of our new Bible Hour topics for this autumn and who seemed enthusiastic about coming along.  Overall, a good day.
